lowercase collects very little, and what we collect we treat the way we treat everything else — quietly and with care. this page says exactly what we gather, why, and how to make us delete it. "lowercase" here means WEST10WEST Crafted Cocktails, LLC d/b/a lowercase, of new york, ny.
what we collect
- allocation requests — your name, email address, zip code, and how many bottles you'd like. an allocation request is not a purchase; no payment is taken, and we never ask for payment details on this site.
- the short list — your email address, if you add it in the footer.
- automatic basics — when you submit a form we record your country (from your network address) and browser type, which helps us tell people from bots. our host, cloudflare, provides privacy-focused analytics that don't track you across other sites.
what we do with it
- hold your place in line and write to you about your request — confirmations, and next steps when bottles are ready.
- send occasional news about lowercase if you've joined the list. every marketing email includes an unsubscribe that works.
- nothing else. we don't sell your information, rent it, or trade it.
who touches it
a small set of service providers process data on our behalf: cloudflare (hosting and storage), resend (sending email), and google workspace (our internal records). when purchasing opens, orders will be sold and fulfilled by licensed retailers and their payment processors — at that point their privacy terms cover the transaction, and we'll say so clearly at checkout.
cookies
one first-party cookie remembers that you've told us you're 21 or over, so we don't ask every visit. that's it. no advertising pixels, no cross-site trackers.

this site is for adults 21 and over. we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 21; if we learn we have, we delete it.
